Some more about me…
It feels odd to write a bio, which seem reserved for those with a descent element of notoriety. I am fairly comfortable with bullet points lists so here is a selection of facts about me:
- I live in the beautiful Blue Mountains, near Sydney, Australia with my awesome lady love and a cat named Milo (after Descendants singer, not the movie Milo & Otis).
- For over 10 years I have worked as a designer & web developer in our great family business Thomas Marsden Advertising.
- The majority of people like to travel, I didn’t for so long, but I do so much now.
Why this blog?
It feels strange to have a blog. I don’t feel like I should refer to myself as a blogger, or a writer, or anything like that. I really started this blog for a couple of practical reasons, the first of which was to compile a bunch of notes, code samples, how to’s, quotes, etc that I had all over the place into a central archive, with the hope of sharing with my colleagues and the wider world. I truly hope any of this is helpful to someone.
Secondly, I really wanted to get into the routine of publishing something regularly and felt writing blogs about things that I am familiar with was the best way to put this into practice.
